Gerhard Pepler is in hot form currently. Gerhard and his family has moved to Secunda but this did not dampen the spirits of Limpopo IPT and SAGDB player who teed it up in a new area in Mpumalanga but made his presence felt straight away.
Gerhard was one off the lead behind Zander Gous after a morning 69 at Walker Park Golf Club during the Highveld Open. This was when Gerhard decided to step-up a gear and finished with a 10 under par 62 in the afternoon round to win by a massive 7 shots over Gary Daniel.
Gerhard had a few near misses lately after struggling to finish the last coming at the Kameeldoring Open in May where he dropped 4 shots in his last 3 holes to finish 2nd by one shot. Looks like Gerhard has learnt how to finish and finish well we might say.
We are proud as a Union and Limpopo SAGDB of what Gerhard has achieved. We believe that Gerhard will still edge his name in history not only on provincial level but also National and international level.
