GolfRSA CEO Grant Hepburn’s interview on RSG

The South African golf industry, like so many others, has been hard hit by the COVID-19 Corona Virus pandemic that has resulted in a government-mandated country-wide lockdown.

In this interview that was broadcast recently on RSG, GolfRSA CEO Grant Hepburn discusses some of the challenges faced by the golf industry in South Africa and the measures taken by GolfRSA amid the pandemic.

Acknowledging that it is a highly contentious issue, Hepburn reaffirms GolfRSA’s support for the government’s regulations during the lockdown, which include the closure of all golf facilities. He also touches on the organisation’s role in supporting clubs during and after the lockdown period and how GolfRSA engaged with the government to ensure that critical maintenance services of golf courses are permissible during the lockdown.
