What an amazing Event!
Thank you to Tzaneen Golf Club for hosting a great Open. Your hospitality staff, course maintenance team and management should be highly complimented. Also, a huge thank you to all 120 players who participated in the Tzaneen Open 2022.
The weekend produced great golf by all the divisions. in the C-division, Willem Engelbrecht produced 42 IPS pts and 39 pts to seal the deal for his division. Erl Konig was fighting hard with 39 pts and 38 pts.
Our B-division Nett winner was Naphtaly Sedibe, with scores of Nett 70 and 71. Well played overall Naphtaly!!
Pieter van der Berg from Tzaneen Golf Club won the Junior Nett division with scores of 68 and 71. We are so proud of this young man. You show incredible promise and we are very excited to see what you achieve in the future Pieter! Congratulations!!
Luan Steenkamp came to the golf course with fire in his eyes. He was there to set things straight! A remarkable 31 on the day 1 back nine helped him to soar to an untouchable 68. He returned day 2 with a solid round of golf, increasing his lead by 7 shots. (69)
